Dexter star Michael C. Hall says he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and is "on the road to completing" successful treatment.
Hall said in a statement. "I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care."
Hall is planning to attend the Golden Globes ceremony this Sunday and the Screen Actors Guild awards the following Saturday. He's nominated at both ceremonies and in my opinion deserves to win .
Production on the fifth season of "Dexter" will resume later this year.
This Thursday’s new episode of "Community" will feature a very special guest star: Jack Black!
Watch the below clip of Jack and hear what he has to say about his character "Buddy"who really wants to be part of the the 'in crowd' aka the study group.
Not only does Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) have to save the world, once again, but he has to do it with the help of a new CTU and an even newer boss, Brian Hastings (Mykelti Williamson). TVGuide.com hit the set of 24 to find out about the big threat this season, how Hastings interacts with Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and Jack and if he'll live up to former CTU head Bill Buchanan (James Morrison).
"This is a different guy," Williamson says about being compared to Buchanan. "He's here for a different reason and he's not really sure he should be here."
ABC has given an early second-season pickup to freshman comedies Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town. Modern Family, has been the most-watched new comedy this season and earned well deserved Golden Globe nomination. I have said it before and I will say it again this is the best comedy on television.
Cougar Town, starring Courteney Cox, which is the No. 2 new comedy of the season and for the life of me I don't understand. This show is borderline horrible and I say this as a person who really wanted to like this show.
The Middle, starring Patricia Heatongets better every week and I am totally in love with this family.
Logo, MTV Networks' entertainment network for gays and their families and friends, has given the green light for a new show called " Rupaul's Drag U".
The show follows Ru and other drag queens as they give a lift to the looks and lives of people in need of some assistance.
The show will premiere in July 2010, with a guaranteed 8 episode run
Showtime has given a 13-episode order to a new historical drama "The Borgias," which will replace "The Tudors" after the latter drama's final season this spring.
The "Borgias" story is set in Italy in 1492. It follows a powerful crime family that's headed by patriarch Rodrigo Borgia, played by Jeremy Irons. this will be his first regular TV series role
Michael Hirst, who wrote every episode of "Tudors," will run the project.
Neil Jordan will executive produce and direct first two epiosdes.
"
" The Borgias" will go into production this spring for an early 2011 debut.
My favorite thing to watch on television "Brothers and Sisters" is flashing back to the '70s and '80s. The ABC drama is currently casting younger versions of the entire Walker clan for a two-part episode set in 1973 and 1986. Holly and Saul will also be included in the flashback episodes.
ABC has not confirmed the plotlines for the flashback episodes, but I am sure they will include William's affairs with Holly and Ryan's mother. We may also get a better understanding of what really went down between Dennis and Williams.
I can't wait.
Once again this wonderful show has given me something to look forward to watching.
I swear from the day that "Brothers and Sisters" premiered I have never been disappointed or let down by any episode. This a great show with a great cast and if you are not watching you are truly missing out on the greatest family drama ever.
I really enjoyed this episode of "Heroes". I am still very upset over Nathan's death and I don't see me getting pass that for a very long time, but tonights episode was a great way to start the healing process.
For you Dave Anders and George Takei fans, the two former Heroes will return for next weeks episode.
Thank God I still have Zachery Quinto and Milo Ventmiglia

The CW will put the first 10 minutes of its new drama "Life Unexpected" online a week before its linear debut.
Starting Jan. 11, the network is putting an extended preview across all official CW fan pages.
The approach marks the first time that Facebook has hosted a screening across multiple pages, with "Unexpected" available to the network's 5.4 million Facebook fans. The move allows CW to directly target its most dedicated viewers online.
The network is partnering with video provider Ustream for the effort. Fans who catch the "Unexpected" preview during the first 24 hours will be able to leave comments as they watch.
"Unexpected" is the story of a 15-year-old foster child who moves back in with her biological parents. The series debuts on the CW on Monday, Jan. 18.
When "Burn Notice" returns Thursday, January 21 for its winter season, the first episode will include a very special guest star Tyne Daly. Yes you "Cagney and Lacey" fans heard me correctly Tyne and Sharon are reuniting.
I must admit that I have never watched a minute of "Cagney and Lacey", but I have heard that it was great show and the chemistry between the two was amazing.
So, I will be tuning in to watch this very special event. Remember, "Burn Notice" fans this will be the first of seven new episodes till next summer.
The nominations were announced at a press conference that featured Tay Diggs, comedian Wanda Sykes, "Brothers Star" Michael Strahan, Tatyana Ali and Kyle and Chris Massey.

Kim Raver has signed on permanently with "Grey's Anatomy" after just two months.
The "Lipstick Jungle" star first appeared in the ninth episode as new cardio surgeon Tedddy Altman, brought in by former colleague Owen(Kevin McKidd).
Her character has recently stirred things up by professing her feelings to Owen, who is in love with Christina. I don't know about you, but I see a love triangle brewing .
Raver is expected to appear in all but one of the show's remaining 12 episodes this season.
"Greys Anatomy" returns from hiatus on Thursdays, January 14.
I have great news for "Law & Order" fans. NBC's President of Primetime Entertainment, Angela Bromstad, has vowed to renew it for another year.
The series revolves around NYPD crime investigations and the trials that follow first debuted in September 1990. To the delight of fans the premise has remained the same, however number of cast changes are way to many to count. I personally started watching during the Jesse Martin and Benjamin Bratt years and I have stayed committed to watching every episode ever since.
The current addition of Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson and Linus Roache has been my favorite.
The show has been on the air for 20 seasons now, and a lot of fols including myself thought that this would be the last season. I am happy to have been completely wrong.
With considerable concessions made by Wolf last spring in order to keep the show on the air and with the decline in ratings this season,
cancellation seemed imminent.
So it looks like "Law & Order will surpass "Gunsmoke's" record
Check out the promo below for a sneak peek at the cases you will see once "Law & Order" returns Friday, Jan 15th
Kevin Alejandro, a member of TNT's "Southland" ensemble, is joining the cast of "True Blood" for its third season.
Alejandro will play a love interest for Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), according to The Hollywood Reporter. His character, Jesus, is an orderly who's helping care for Lafayette's mom (Alfre Woodard). He's scheduled to appear "in almost every episode" of season 3, which will debut in the summer.
He's also still attached to "Southland." The former NBC series debuts on TNT on Jan. 12, but the cable channel is planning to see how it performs before deciding whether to go back into production. That leaves some room on Alejandro's schedule for "True Blood."
