Amy Ryan is returning to "The Office" as Holly Flax, the awkward HR employee for seven episodes starting Thursday, December 9.
Her character will return as a favor to Michael from Kathy Bates's CEO character , after he took the public relations heat in a Dunder-Mifflin scandal.
Since Carell has announced that this season will be his last one, maybe with the return of Holly, Michael Scott will finally get his happy ending.
