PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA TO APPEAR ON "THE DAILY SHOW WITH JOHN STEWART" WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27

President Barack Obama will make his fifth appearance as a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Wednesday, October 27 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), his first since taking office as President of the United States of America. President Obama's last appearance on "The Daily Show" was on October 29, 2008, just days before he was elected President. He has also appeared on April 21, 2008, August 22, 2007 and November 7, 2005.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:30 a.m. the same night and at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT). President Obama's appearance will occur during the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning series' week-long trip to Washington, D.C. providing special, "Indecision 2010" coverage of the midterm elections. "When Grizzlies Attack: A 'Daily Show' Midterm Teapartyganza," will air nightly at 11:00 p.m. from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28. "The Daily Show's" coverage of the midterm elections will culminate on Tuesday, November 2 with a live, Election Night special airing from 11:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast).
