DANCING WITH THE STARS: ABC ANNOUNCE CELEBRITY AND PROFESSIONAL PAIRINGS FOR SEASON 12

The season 12 star-studded cast and their professional partners get ready to break in their dancing shoes on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" for the long awaited two-hour season premiere, MONDAY, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. In alphabetical order, with their professional partners, the 11 stars making their dancing debut are:

 KIRSTIE ALLEY, television and movie star, joins MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY, who is back for his tenth season.

 "PSYCHO" MIKE CATHERWOOD, radio personality, partners up with LACEY SCHWIMMER, who is back for her fourth season.

 CHRIS JERICHO, WWE star, teams up with two-time champ CHERYL BURKE, who is back for her eleventh season

 CHELSEA KANE, Disney star, teams up with two-time champ MARK BALLAS, who returns for his eighth season.

 SUGAR RAY LEONARD, boxing legend, joins ANNA TREBUNSKAYA, who returns for her seventh season.

 RALPH MACCHIO, movie star, teams up with KARINA SMIRNOFF, who returns for her eighth season.

 PETRA NEMCOVA, supermodel, partners with DMITRY CHAPLIN, who returns for his third season.

ROMEO, rapper and actor, teams up with CHELSIE HIGHTOWER, who returns for her fifth season.

HINES WARD, Super Bowl MVP, teams up with Season 9 champion KYM JOHNSON, who returns for her ninth season.

KENDRA WILKINSON, reality star, partners with LOUIS VAN AMSTEL, who returns for his eighth season.

 WENDY WILLIAMS, talk show host, joins TONY DOVOLANI, who is back for his eleventh season.

All 11 couples will dance for the first time on live national television on MONDAY, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), with couples either performing the Foxtrot or the Cha Cha Cha. The couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes for their performance will be sent home the following week on the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," TUESDAY, MARCH 29 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

The dancing partners for the 16 celebrity contestants on Dancing With The Stars were announced on Good Morning America on Monday.

The show, which premiers Monday, September 21 at 8/7c on ABC, will also have a few twists, including a double elimination on Sept. 23.

ABC has announced the 16 newest stars set to appear on the ninth season which premieres Sept 21.

Louie Vito: Professional snowboarder who has participated in the Winter X Games.

Natalie Coughlin: Swimmer earned six gold medals at the 2008 Olympics.

Michael Irvin: Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver who was inducted into the Professional

Football Hall of Fame.

Mya: Grammy-winning R&B singer and former star of Broadway’s Chicago.

Kelly Osbourne: Daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Macy Gray: Grammy winning and nominated singer.

Debi Mazar: Actress currently co-starring on 'Entourage".

Ashley Hamilton: Son of George Hamilton and Alana Stewart

Kathy Ireland: Former model (who appeared in Sports Illustrated for 13 consecutive years) .

Joanna Krupa: Swimsuit Model .

Aaron Carter:Pop Singer and little brother to the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter.

Donny Osmond: The one-time teen idol and half of the brother-siseter act "Donny and Marie" .

Melissa Joan Hart: Actress famously known for starring in Sabrina the Teenage Witch from 1996 to 2003.

Tom DeLay: Former Republican House Majority Leader who resigned after being indicted on campaign finance violations.

ABC's "Good Morning America" will once again host the official cast announcement for the upcoming ninth season of the hit series "Dancing with the Stars." Tom Bergeron, host of "Dancing with the Stars," will be on hand to reveal the new cast of celebrities, along with a newly announced Season Nine cast member for the first in-studio interview.

Season Nine of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), followed by a second performance show on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) and a special Results Show on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" premieres in its regular time period TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET).
