"The Challenges" formerly know as Real world/Road Rules challenge premieres Wednesday, June 22.  Am I the only one who can't believe that this show still has legs? WOW!!!!!!!  Well moving on, unlike past seasons the 14 male and 14 female  contestants will be paired up with their sworn enemies and from the above clip there will not be a lack of drama.

In season six, the Kardashians put family first in order to spend more quality time together, igniting a whole new adventure when secrets they've been keeping from each other are revealed. The 12-episode, highly anticipated new season is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim/Murray Productions and premieres Sunday, June 12th at 10:00pm ET/PT only on E!

With Kim in love and constantly on the road; Kourtney and Khloé managing their own households in addition to their three DASH boutiques; and Kris managing everyone's careers, the whole family has to make concerted efforts to stay connected. The season kicks off with Kourtney being upset that Kris seems to have forgotten the real meaning of family and has turned the Kardashians into a business. Taking matters into her own hands, Kourtney plans a gathering for the family where the only item on the agenda is having fun. Unfortunately, not everyone got the memo and things quickly go awry.

This season fans will get an inside look at Kim's relationship with new beau New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries, who Kim thinks is "the one." Kourtney and Khloé divulge they are wary of investing their emotions into Kim's new relationship.

Meanwhile, Kourtney and Scott have finally moved into an amazing new home, and Scott goes up against his girlfriend in a battle to reclaim the key she gave Kris. Scott pushes Kourtney to get it back, but she doesn't want to hurt her mom's feelings. But the tables turn and Kourtney is soon disappointed when she learns that Kris strongly disapproves of her trying to have another baby out of wedlock.

Despite the spats, the family members come together to support each other, and the three older sisters take the younger ones under their protective wings. For starters, Kim takes Kendall to The Big Apple to help jump-start her burgeoning modeling career, but the teen is quickly overwhelmed trying to keep up with her famous sister's work ethic. And when Bruce finds Kendall is using birth control, Khloe jumps in help Bruce have "the birds and the bees talk" with his two youngest daughters. Later, Kris worries she's not aging gracefully and contemplates plastic surgery. Luckily, Bruce is there to encourage her to tackle getting older with the same verve she uses in her business endeavors.

Also this season, the family takes a long overdue vacation to the tropics in honor of Kris and Bruce's 20th wedding anniversary. Away from the red carpets and business meetings, the family is able to have some fun in the sun and share the closeness they had before Kardashian became a household name. But things don't stay so sunny in paradise - when strong personalities come together, cloud bursts are inevitable. Kris Humphries joins Kim on the trip, and his first foray into a Kardashian vacation isn't without its rough patches. Scott finds it difficult to enjoy the celebrations in moderation, and he and Rob finally address the tension that's been simmering between them since Kim's birthday party in Vegas over a year ago.

 MTV's adventurous docu-series "The Buried Life" returns for a second season Monday, September 27th at 10:30PM ET/PT. "The Buried Life" began with a simple question: "What do you want to do before you die?" Out of it grew an inspirational TV show and a grassroots movement that has allowed viewers to live vicariously through four friends - Ben, Jonnie, Duncan and Dave - as they put themselves in the most incredible and unexpected situations while traveling the country trying to complete a list of "100 things they want to do before they die." For every item they cross off their list, they help a perfect stranger accomplish one of their dreams.
Season two of the series promises more elaborate capers and inspirational moments as people from around the world share their own lists and ask the guys for help. Crashing a parade, capturing a fugitive and raising $1,000,000 in a week, are just a few of the list items they will attempt to pull off. The guys will also try to help two sisters make an important motorbike journey across Florida to bury their father's ashes, build a skate park for a community that has lost four teenagers to tragedy - and help a struggling rock band get signed to a record label.

MTV'S "THE BURIED LIFE" PICKED UP FOR A SECOND SEASON

MTV has picked up a second season of the original docu-series "The Buried Life" set to air later this year. The announcement was made today by Tony DiSanto, President of Programming for MTV. "The Buried Life" follows the real-life adventures of Duncan, Ben, Jonnie and Dave, as they travel the country trying to complete a list of "100 things they want to do before they die." For each item they cross off their list, they help a perfect stranger accomplish one of their dreams, challenging each person they meet with the ultimate question -- "What do YOU want to do before you die?"
 
"The Buried Life movement is spreading across the country, with even more people sharing their lists, and posing even bigger and more epic challenges for themselves and the guys," said Tony DiSanto, President of MTV Programming. "This has been and continues to be an incredible journey and we are so proud to bring this uniquely exciting and poignant series back to our viewers, along with some new twists in season 2."?
 
Season two of the series promises more elaborate capers and inspirational moments as people from around the country share their own lists and ask "The Buried Life" guys for help. Last season, which originally premiered January 18, 2010 delivering its strongest ratings amongst female teens 18-24, the guys delivered a baby, reunited a father and son who hadn't spoken in 17 years and crashed a party at the Playboy Mansion. And just a few weeks ago, after an attempt during the season, the guys crossed off #95: Play ball with Obama, spending time shooting a few hoops with the President at the White House.

Four years ago, "The Buried Life" began when Duncan Penn, Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood and Jonnie Penn, disillusioned about what lay ahead for the future of their generation, decided to make a list of everything they wanted most in life. In the process, the guys promised they would help others achieve their own life goals, including helping a young woman who lost her mother in Hurricane Katrina travel to her grave site for the first time, rewarding students they met by donating computers to a low-income school in Los Angeles, and more. The title "The Buried Life" refers to a poem written by Matthew Arnold in 1852 in which he suggests that our daily lives become so cumbersome that our REAL life becomes BURIED and we each have a desire to live our "buried life."

MTV'S "THE CHALLENGE:FRESH MEAT II" PREMIERES ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7

MTV's "The Challenge: Fresh Meat II" premieres on Wednesday, April 7 at 10pm ET/PT with a new cycle of competition that is anything but friendly. In addition to drama and fights, this season takes us deeper inside the Kenny/Wes rivalry, as alumni and fresh meat struggle to decide whose side to take. The tension heats up when the cast moves into the house and one person makes a surprise appearance that is sure to leave everyone stunned.

MTV TO AIR DJ AM'S REALITY SHOW

DJ AM's intervention-reality show, Gone Too Far, will air, MTV announced.

The eight-hour series, in which Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein" tries to help young addicts on the path to sobriety, will premiere Oct. 12 at 10/9c with the support of the late celebrity DJ's family, the network said.

"Recovery can be extremely difficult and requires constant attention," said Sean Clarkin, executive vice president of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. "But it's important to know that it is in fact possible to present examples of people who are recognizing the need for treatment and beginning that journey."

DJ AM, who was sober for more than 10 years before his death, died Aug. 28 at the age of 36 of an accidental overdose of cocaine and prescription drugs.

JANET JACKSON PAYS TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL AT VMAs

Janet Jackson will lead a tribute to her late brother Michael at the Video Music Awards.

The tribute will kick off the show on Sunday. Details about the tribute are scant -- MTV's announcement of Janet Jackson's appearance was all of two sentences long -- but the cable network says she will help open the show by honoring her brother's career, which was intertwined with the rise of MTV in the early 1980s.

MTV did, however, take the time in its release to knock down a rumor that choreographer Frank Gaston will be involved in the tribute. He won't be, the network says.

MTV started promoting its VMA tribute over the weekend with spots showing a torrent of sequined gloves falling from the sky and promising "a tribute like no other" for Michael Jackson, who died on June 25. The VMAs air at 9 p.m. ET Sunday from New York.

DADDY'S GIRLS RETURNS FOR 2ND SEASON AUGUST 11TH

Jessica Brown - Vanessa and Angela's cousin Jessica is a shoot-from-the-hip, athletic spitfire with a mean jump shot and quick wit. Since relocating to Los Angeles to help her cousins out with their Pastry line, she has taken on a mission to discover who she is. This season Jessica sets out to explore her inner desires by getting back to her Panamanian roots and playing more basketball as well as giving back to the community.

Lynn James - Lynn is a fun-loving, career-driven model attempting to break into the entertainment industry. Lynn is also a nature enthusiast who enjoys horseback riding and camping. Lynn and Vanessa have been close buddies since college and share some of the same interests, which has the tendency to provoke competition at times.

Brian Bolton - A modest, goofy, man-about-town who is a dead ringer for Johnny Depp. Having worked as a club promoter and in A&R, Brian gets behind the velvet ropes access to all of LA's hot spots. Brian has branched out as a music manager/producer at a hip-hop label and searches for new artists to sign. Along with his day job in music, Brian is also a graphic designer which could lead to a collaboration with Angela and Vanessa on a new shoe line.

MTV AND SEAN 'DIDDY' COMBS JOIN FORCES TO CREATE THE ULTIMATE BACK-UP BAND

Sean "Diddy" Combs returns to MTV in his latest reality series "Making His Band" premiering Monday, July 27 at 10:00PM ET/PT. Marking a new twist, viewers will witness a personal side of Diddy as he launches a nationwide search for the musicians to back him up on tour for his new album LAST TRAIN TO PARIS, his most ambitious project yet. The album features a sound that Combs describes as electro-hip hop soul funk.
Throughout four cycles of "Making The Band," viewers have seen Diddy as a tough critic whose hard work and high expectations created successful groups ranging from hip-hop to pop to R&B. Now Diddy turns that tough criticism on himself as well as on the musicians trying to make his band. Covering choreography, song writing and production, Diddy will call upon five judges to mentor the contestants and help select the members of his back-up band. Pulled from a diverse pool of untapped talent, the artists selected will live together in Los Angeles as they vie for a spot to join Diddy on tour.

"In 'Making His Band' viewers will see a new side of me as reflected in my new album 'LAST TRAIN TO PARIS'" says Combs. "They will walk away knowing that this project is a personal and refreshing look at the man behind the music."
