LIL MAMA TO HOST 2ND ANNUAL "TAP WITH A BEAT" BENEFIT CONCERT




TAP WITH A BEAT, a benefit concert featuring young performers and celebrity presenters, brings young people and their families together to educate them about the world water crisis and foster philanthropy at all ages, at the World Peace Ikeda Auditorium on Friday, March 26th, 2010. This is an ALL AGES musical event, raising awareness and support for UNICEF's Tap Project.

The first ever Tap With A Beat Benefit Concert, held last year on March 21, 2009, was organized in just six weeks and gathered nearly 600 youth raising funds to directly support the UNICEF Tap Project helping to provide clean drinking water to children all over the world. Orlando Bloom was the guest speaker who shared with the audience his experience as a UNICEF ambassador to Nepal. With performances by Somewhere Else (Blast Beats Battle of the Bands 2008 World Champions), Boxcuttuhz (America's Best Dance Crew), Quincy “IQ” Brown (MTV Sweet 16), Teo Olivares (Nickelodeon/Disney/Performing Artist), Chantz (World Touring Jazz Musician), Miki Ishikawa (Yours, Mine and Ours), and Frequency 5. Presenters included Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock), Kay Panabaker (FAME!), Matt Prokop (High School Musical 3), Chelsea Tavares (Unfabulous), and many others, who all came together to promote the message of the Tap Project.

This year's 2nd Annual Tap With A Beat concert is hosted by Lil Mama, America's Best Dance Crew judge, who will be joined by other young performers and celebrity presenters including Anna Maria Perez Del Tagle (Camp Rock), Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock), Kay Panabaker (Fame!), Francia Raisa, Allen Evangelista and Camille Winbush, cast members from The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, AudioPush (Interscope Records), Monti Montanez (former JIVE Records Menudo band member) and many more plus an appearance by a special celebrity guest soon to be announced!

The 2nd Annual Tap With A Beat concert takes place on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the World Peace Ikeda Auditorium in Santa Monica, California. Celebrity arrivals begin at 7:00 pm, doors open at 7:30 pm and the benefit concert with begin at 8:00 pm. Advance tickets are suggested and will be available for purchase online for $15 (ticket site pending). Depending on availability, tickets at the door will be $20.
