Released by Miss TV Girl
Nip/Tuck says goodbye for good tonight. I have watched this show from day one and I have never missed an episode, but I do believe it is time to say goodbye.
Will I miss seeing what new way Mcnamara/Troy will find next to screw up their lives?
The answer is yes and no. In the beginning it was interesting to watch the ups and downs of Christian and Sean because you believed that in the end there would be some sort of lesson learned and form of redemption. Now after seven years you see that no life lessons have been learned by these two men. Christian and Sean have continued to make the same mistakes, and in some cases the mistakes have become greater. I don't know about you, but watching constant despair and self mutilation of soul week after week can become a little tiresome and depressing.
Hopfully, this season finale will give these two characters piece of mind and redemption.
After seven years I sure think that Christian and Sean deserve that much.
Then again this Nip/Tuck. Is there such a thing as a happy ending with this series. Hell, if anyone deserved one it was Kimber and we see what happened to her.
Miss TV Girl can only dream,and maybe Ryan Murphy has lightened up a little bit. Let's not forget this is the same man behind the wonderfully uplifting "Glee"
