ABC FAMILY CANCELS "NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING"

I am very upset with the news that ABC Family has decided to cancel my summer guilty pleasure "The Nine Lives of Chloe King".  Yes, I will admit this show had some faults(Amy and Paul), but I thought that it was fun and very entertaining with a lot of room to grow.

"The Nine Lives of Chloe King"debuted to 2.2 million viewers, but over the course of the season audience interest wavered and the season (now series) finale attracted a little more than one million viewers. It was the least-watched summer series on ABC Family.

Unfortunately for the few fans like myself the finale ended on with a great cliffhanger and plenty of  unresolved issues for our teenage heroine.   Good thing the show is based on a series of books by Liz Braswell, so I guess if I want to know what happens with Chloe, I will need to go and  plug in my Nook

SNEAK PEEK: "SWITCHED AT BIRTH"

Show Description:  "Switched at Birth," tells the story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital. Bay Kennish grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing at an early age due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a working class neighborhood. Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls.

GENERAL HOSPITAL:TYLER CHRISTOPHER OUT AS NIKOLAS?

Rumors are circulating that Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine)  has been let go from the ABC soap"General Hospital" . If true, I am not sure if this has anything to do with his lack of storyline on the soap or the recent pick up of his new pilot "The Lying Game" on ABC Family Channel.

Tyler Christopher's contract with GH was set to expire this June

 Update: It's official Tyler Christopher has been let go from "General Hospital" .  Tyler has been with show on and off since 1996 and his story lines will continue through most of April.

SNEAK PEEK: SEASON 2 OF "PRETTY LITTLE LIARS"

I watched the first season of this show, but continued to lose interest week after week.  The girl were so annoying and nothing new ever happened, except for another new message from "A".

So, I have decided not to watch the second season, this sneak peek trailer isn't even interesting.

BEVERLY MITCHELL JOINS "THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER"

Beverly Mitchell has joined the "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".  


Mitchell's character will replace Mayim Bialik who currently plays the school counselor, when the ABC Family drama returns in January 2011.

ABC Family has acquired the basic cable television rights to the Emmy(R) Award-winning television series "Friday Night Lights," in a deal with NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

The deal gives ABC Family the rights to five seasons of the critically acclaimed series. ABC Family is tentatively set to begin airing the series' first season in September 2010. The fourth season of "Friday Night Lights" is currently airing on NBC (Fridays, 8 p.m. ET/PT.)

ABC FAMILY ORDERS ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF "PRETTY LITTLE LIARS"

ABC Family has ordered 12 additional episodes of the network's hit one-hour series, "Pretty Little Liars."
The order will bring the show's first season to a total of 22 episodes.

I continue to watch, but my level of interest is starting to waiver.  Something really needs to happen really soon with these characters.  The messages are starting to  border on annoying.  I am not asking for "A" to reveal his/her self, I just need to see a little bit of development with these characters.

The ABC Family network new show "Pretty Little Liars" premieres Tuesday, June,8. From the looks of the above trailer its looks this show is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

The show follows four estranged best friends who are reunited after their queen bee, Allison, goes missing. But as time goes on we start to see that things are not as perfect as everyone is led to believe. The first sign of trouble starts when one by one they each receive messages from an anonymous "A" who knows all of their secrets.

Don't we all love a good mystery? Hopfully this will be one

ABC Family announced the pick-up of "Melissa & Joey." The series has been given a 10-episode order and is scheduled to premiere in 2010.

ABC Family will return its two original hit dramas, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Make It or Break It" one week earlier, moving to Monday, January 4th (8:00-9:00PM ET/PT and 9:00-10:00PM ET/PT).

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" returns (8:00-9:00PM ET/PT) to complete its second season with 12 all-new episodes.

"Make It or Break It" (9:00PM-10:00PM ET/PT) returns to complete its first season with 10 all-new episodes.

The two series were initially scheduled to return on Monday, January 11, 2010.
