GREAT NEWS: BBC AMERICA'S "LUTHER" GETS A SECOND SEASON

BBC AMERICA will co-produce the mini-series sequel of the critically-acclaimed drama, Luther, starring Golden Globe nominee, Idris Elba.

Elba stars as John Luther, a detective struggling to cope with his own demons, devastated by the brutal murder of his wife, John Luther returns to policing in a different world for season two
.
His old unit has gone and he's working in the newly created Serious and Serial Unit, headed by former police complaints officer Martin Schenk (Dermot Crowley, Babel, Bleak House). Luther quickly gathers together his team, rescuing his old partner Detective Justin Ripley (Warren Brown, Occupation, Shameless) from uniform. It's not long before they're dealing with their first case. A masked man wanders the streets of London, carrying out ritualistic murders in historic locations, working his way up to one final masterpiece.

I am so excited by this bit of news.  If you missed the first season please find and watch it ASAP.

GENERAL HOSPITAL:TYLER CHRISTOPHER OUT AS NIKOLAS?

Rumors are circulating that Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine)  has been let go from the ABC soap"General Hospital" . If true, I am not sure if this has anything to do with his lack of storyline on the soap or the recent pick up of his new pilot "The Lying Game" on ABC Family Channel.

Tyler Christopher's contract with GH was set to expire this June

 Update: It's official Tyler Christopher has been let go from "General Hospital" .  Tyler has been with show on and off since 1996 and his story lines will continue through most of April.

LIFE UNEXPECTED: A GREAT SHOW THAT STILLS NEEDS YOUR HELP.

"Life Unexpected" is a great  show currently in its second season on the CW network that needs your support in order to earn a full season pickup. I am truly disappointed that so few people are watching.

 Since my last posting begging anybody and everybody to help save "Life Unexpected", the CW network has given full season pickups for "Hellcats" "Nikita and "One Tree Hill". Unfortunately "Life Unexpected" only received 2 additional scripts.  However, there is still hope and time to increase the ratings and get that full season pickup.

"Life Unexpected" airs every Tuesday night at 9pm. Please watch, and I guarantee you will love this show.

NATHAN LANE CAST AS "PEPPER" ON "MODERN FAMILY"

Nathan Lane will guest-star on "Modern Family" as Cameron and Mitchell's talked about, but never seen friend Pepper.

Lane approached co-creators and executive producers Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd about appearing on the sitcom and was a perfect fit for the part, Levitan told USA Today, who first reported the casting.

I am pretty sure we can expect complete hilarity with Lane's appearance, no word on Lane's episode air date.

Modern Family" returns Wednesday, September 22.
