"ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT" TO AIR ON IFC

Released by Miss TV Girl

I have great news "Arrested Development" is coming to IFC -- yes, all three seasons of the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning comedy series.

The comedy series will launch on the on Sunday, October 25 at 10pm, and from there will be airing two episodes back-to-back, Sundays at 10pm, and Tuesdays at 9pm.

This was a great comedy that I feel was taken off the air way to soon, but I am glad to hear that it will be back on the air for people who missed it the first time around.

The timing is also great considering the current buzz about a possibe "Arrested Development" movie.  The whole cast has signed on to appear and for us fans we know how important it is to have every Bluth at the table for when the insanity starts.

I highly recommend this comedy series to anyone that has not had the fortune to watch an episode.  It is truly one of the great comedies, the cast does not miss a beat.

SAG HONORS THE MAGNIFICENT BETTY WHITE

Released by Miss TV Girl

Betty White has been acting for more than 50 years and will be honored with the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. White, 87 will be presented with this well deserved honor on the Saturday, Jan. 23 on TNT and TBS at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Now I may be a little bias when it comes to Betty White considering I have pretty much watched everything she has appeared in from movies to television. I beleive that along with Bea Arthur she is one of entertainments all time great television comedic actresses.

The iconic characters she has played from Sue Ann Nivens(The Mary Tyler Moore) to Rose Nylund (The Golden Girls) have brought such happiness and joy to so many lives.

As you probably can tell from this blog I watch a lot of television and I consider "The Golden Girl" to best comedy series of all time and a lot of that admiration is due in part to Betty White's performance.

On the big screen, she recently co-starred in "The Proposal"and can be heard as one of the voices in "Ponya". She's currently filming the Disney comedy "You Again" opposite Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver and Kristin Chenowith.

I congratulate you Betty White on this honor from SAG and Thank You for bringing so much laughter and joy to my life.

"BIG BROTHER" PICKED UP FOR A 12TH SEASON

Released by  Miss TV Girl

As we near the finale for "Big Brother " season 11 CBS announced today that it has ordered another edition of the hit reality series for broadcast in the summer 2010. The three-times-a-week series has once again turned into a summer sensation, growing its audience both on-air and online for the CBS Television Network and CBS Interactive platforms.

Although I have had some serious issues with the current installment this is great news for us "Big Brother" fans.

Now don't get me wrong my issues with Big Brother 11 has nothing to do with production, it has more to do with the casting of the Houseguests this season. I have never seen such annoying people in my life. I know I maybe way to invested in a reality show, but for the final three remaining houseguest to be the biggest floaters in Big Brother history really upsets me.

I know what you are thinking, Miss TV Girl really needs to get a life , and this may be true, but after a season like Big Brother 10 and the phenomenal way that more than half of the houseguests played the game this season is insulting.

No one and I mean no one played a good game. The final three are sitting there because of luck and when I say luck I mean Jeff. Jeff decided to pair with Jordan one of the weakest players in the house and if that wasn't a bad move in itself, once he had complete control of the game due to the America's Vote, he decides to leave his final four commitment and pair up with Natalie and Kevin the two people in house who have wanted him gone from day one.

Did I mention that their feelings toward Jeff were never a secret to him? Dumb!!!

I could go on and on about the questionable mental stability of this years houseguest but I wont. What I will say is that I can not wait for another summer of "Big Brother" .

BIG BROTHER SEASON 11

Released by  Miss TV Girl

Yes I am a fan of "Big Brother" . The season started Thursday I haven't watched it yet but I can't wait. Last season was such an awesome season. I was truly happy to see Dan win. Never had a person deserved to win more than Dan. He truly played the best game of any prior "Big Brother" contender. Yes I do believe that his game was better that Will's game. I will let you know what I thought of the season premiere tomorrow.
