TOP 25 "LOST" GUEST STARS: WHERE ARE THEY NOW PART 1

Released by Jo Garfein/TV Squad

These choices all represent familiar faces and memorable characters with emotional resonance and notable entrances/departures.

Julie BowenJulie Bowen
'Lost' Character:
Sarah Shephard, Jack's ex-wife, who may or may not still be his ex in the Flash Sideways. Jack miraculously "fixed" her after a head-on collision with Shannon's father; perhaps he can do the same for Locke now.
Where She Is Now: Following her series regular role on 'Boston Legal' and a stint on 'Weeds' as Silas' cougar catch, Bowen can now be seen every Wednesday as Claire -- the matriarch of the hilarious Dunphy clan on ABC's hit comedy 'Modern Family.'

Clancy BrownClancy Brown
'Lost' Character:
Kelvin Inman, Desmond's former hatchmate on the island. Before joining the Dharma Initiative, Inman served in the U.S. military with Kate's stepfather, and he coerced Sayid into torturing Iraqi prisoners to extract key information.
Where He Is Now: Brown is a veteran actor and voiceover master; among his many roles, you might recognize him as the voice of Eugene Krabs on 'SpongeBob SquarePants.' He will be appearing in the film 'Cowboys & Aliens,' co-written by Damon Lindelof.

Francois ChauFrancois Chau
'Lost' Character:
Dr. Pierre Chang, Miles' father and everyone's favorite Dharma orientation film host. He was also known as Dr. Marvin Candle, Dr. Edgar Halliwax and Dr. Mark Wickmund, although Hurley infamously labeled him a "douche."
Where He Is Now: Chau was in the film 'The Lodger' and the web series 'Gemini Division.' He recently made an appearance on ABC's weekly video series 'Lost Untangled,' which features Dr. Chang in puppet form.

Michael CudlitzMichael Cudlitz
'Lost' Character:
"Big Mike" Walton, Ana Lucia's former LAPD partner who seemed to have a crush on our angry, deceased friend. Walton interrogated Hurley after he crashed his car fleeing Ghost Charlie, and was responsible for placing Hurley back in the Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute.
Where He Is Now: Cudlitz is back on the force in 'Southland,' which was rescued by TNT after NBC failed to pick up the series. His character, John Cooper, is a veteran cop and closeted gay man with a possible pain medication addiction.

Alan DaleAlan Dale
'Lost' Character:
Charles Widmore, Ben's nemesis and father to both Penelope Widmore and Daniel Faraday. Before becoming a wealthy industrialist with a very expensive scotch hobby, Charles was stationed on the island until he was exiled by Benjamin Linus. In addition to preventing his daughter from marrying Desmond Hume, Charles was obsessed with returning to the island and only recently achieved that goal.
Where He Is Now: Dale is well known for his roles as Caleb on 'The O.C.' and Bradford Meade on 'Ugly Betty,' but he was also on 'Entourage' and in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.' The very busy Dale will appear in five films in the next two years.

Kevin DurandKevin Durand
'Lost' Character:
Martin Keamy, Widmore's mercenary and the show's best Christopher Walken impersonator. Whether taking target practice on the freighter or preparing eggs in the Flash Sideways, Keamy is disarming and creepy. Of course, he is atop the list of Best Island Villains due to the cold-blooded murder of Ben's daughter Alex.
Where He Is Now: Durand plays Little John in Ridley Scott's new 'Robin Hood' film and was the Blob in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine.' He will re-team with Hugh Jackman in 2011's 'Real Steel.'

Nathan FillionNathan Fillion
'Lost' Character:
Kevin Callis, Kate's ex-husband. Felon-on-the-run Kate Austen fell for Miami police officer Kevin and married him under the pseudonym "Monica." Six months later, she drugged and then left him to go on the run again.
Where He is Now: Fillion is the star of ABC's Monday-night series 'Castle' and has also appeared on 'Desperate Housewives.' He is particularly beloved by the Whedon Nation for his roles on 'Buffy,' 'Firefly' and 'Serenity.'

Fionnula FlanaganFionnula Flanagan

'Lost' Character:
Eloise Hawking/Widmore, Faraday's prognosticating mother and Charles' Flash Sideways wife. She was so loved by her son that he named a rat after her. Eloise appears to be an oracle of sorts. Her meeting with Desmond in 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' was our first indication of that time travel would play a major factor in future seasons.
Where She Is Now: Flanagan was a series regular on Showtime's 'Brotherhood' and played Ricky Gervais' mother in 'The Invention of Lying.' But one of her best big screen roles was, appropriately enough, in 'The Others.'
