SHOULD I BE UPSET WITH WHAT IS GOING ON WITH"SUPERNATURAL" THIS SEASON?

Released by Miss TV Girl

Last nights episode of "Supernatural" was  great, to be honest this season has been pretty good , but I am having a real problem with the Winchester brothers losing everything near and dear to them.  "Supernatural" has always been about family and the bond  between that ties you together no matter what the circumstance. Over the past seven seasons we  have seen that bond extend outside of Sam and Dean to include Bobby, Castiel, Joe, Ellen and Rufus.

Now I must confess that I  am still reeling from Castiel's(Misha Collins) presumed death  at the start of the season.  I found it a very unnecessary move in order to push the storyline ahead, but I do understand that these things sometime happen with fan faves, so I wiped away my tears and instantly started to pray that he would return eventually.  However, if the powers that be have decided to kill off Bobby(Jim Beavers) I will be at a complete  lost of words. This is so unnecessary, the brothers have been stripped of everything , I mean when Sam told Dean" we need to prepare in case Bobby dies" and Dean said "no, we have lost enough", I totally agreed, Dean is practically living out of a bottle, trying to deal with the lost of only friend Castiel , Sam is wrestling with Luficer  inside in his head and now you want for them both to add Bobby's death to mix.

I love "Supernatural" it is truly my favorite show to watch, but this season has been a little depressing and somewhat dark for me.  I know that might sound crazy its not like "Supernatural" is where you go for laugh, but Sam and Dean have both been in such dark places this season and I see no reprieve in sight even if Bobby survives.    I guess I am  just use to one of the brothers always being in control and strong er when the other one couldn't be, but this season the two of them have seemed so damaged and defeated.

I will never give up on "Supernatural", hey I am the girl(nerd) who watches reruns  of previous seasons during the summer hiatus.  I just want the brothers to get a break.

Did I mention this is only  season the big bad thing their  fighting ( 'Leviathans') can't be killed?

AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO ENJOYED THE PREMIERE EPISODE OF "I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER"?

I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, Jaime Pressly, Katie Finneran
Released by Miss TV Girl

"I Hate My Teenage Daughter" is one of the worst reviewed new series  this season, but call me crazy I actually enjoyed the first episode. Now I am not saying  it was great television, but I was  entertained and I will certainly tune in next week.

SNEAK PEEK:EPISODE 2 OF "SUPERNATURAL"

This looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!  "Supernatural" is off to a great start(as usual), I mean that season premiere which featured Death, Lucifer, Crowley and Castiel was amazing. I never thought I would hear myself  begging and pleading for more Death and Lucifer.

However, I am more than a little disappointed and upset with the decision to lessen the presence of my favorite Angel Castiel, but it looks like the "Leviathans" will keep me quite distracted until Castiel returns(fingers cross).

WHAT FALL 2011-2012 SERIES ARE YOU EXCITED TO WATCH?

Summer is over and  there are about 12 new series and more than 30 returning series that will hit the air waves between September and November and  honestly, I am only excited about one new series NBC's "Awake" in the whole lineup.  I think that this is pretty sad, because I can't remember ever not being excited  for the start of the Fall Premiere season.  So, I thought I would take a poll and see what new series you all are excited to watch. during premiere week.

ABC FAMILY CANCELS "NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING"

  Released by Miss TV Girl

I am very upset with the news that ABC Family has decided to cancel my summer guilty pleasure "The Nine Lives of Chloe King".  Yes, I will admit this show had some faults(Amy and Paul), but I thought that it was fun and very entertaining with a lot of room to grow.

"The Nine Lives of Chloe King"debuted to 2.2 million viewers, but over the course of the season audience interest wavered and the season (now series) finale attracted a little more than one million viewers. It was the least-watched summer series on ABC Family.

Unfortunately for the few fans like myself the finale ended on with a great cliffhanger and plenty of  unresolved issues for our teenage heroine.   Good thing the show is based on a series of books by Liz Braswell, so I guess if I want to know what happens with Chloe, I will need to go and  plug in my Nook

MISS TV GIRl: MY THOUGHTS ON THE EMMY NOMINATIONS

Released by Miss TV Girl

It comes as no surprise that the The Emmys likes the familiar, so when the nominations were announced this morning I was pleasantly shocked and surprised by the new faces that have finally been invited to the party this year.  Now, I am still upset by the complete disregard of "Parenthood",   for the second year.

Completely Excited About:

*Walter Goggins, Timothy Olyphant , and Margo Martindale, thanks for  showing the love to the magnificent cast  of "Justified".

* Finally "Parks and Recreations" up for best comedy.

* Louie C.K.  the biggest and best surprise of the nominations

*Martha Plimpton  nod for lead actress for "Raising Hope"

* Ed O'Neil getting some respect this year

*Gwyneth Paltrow nod for guest star boy did she rock on  "Glee"

* Alan Cummings for "The Good Wife" boy do "I Love You "

I  Don't Understand:

Mariska Hargitay , she is great, but the performance is not Emmy worthy year after year.  There are just too many other dramatic lead actresses (Katey Segal, Kyra Sedgewick,  and Lauren Graham)who should have their names on the ballot this year.

Betty White for "Hot in Cleveland", I understand the sentiment, but this is not an Emmy worthy performance. Now I say this as the person who list Betty White and the cast of "The Golden Girls" as the best in television history.

Snubs:

*Fringe"  will the show and cast ever get any love from Emmy?  This was by far the best season and Anna Torv, John Noble and Joshua Jackson all turned out stellar performances

* "Parenthood's"  cast is one of the best on television(Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Mae Whitman, Monica Potter) and  still  no love.

*  Nick Offerman so deserved a  nomination for "Parks and Recreations"

* Matt Czuchry  for "The Good Wife", his work was great  this year.

* Brent Sexton for the "The Killing", I felt his performance was just as worthy as Michelle Forbes nominations.

I don't know about you , but for the. first time in a very long time I am excited to watch "The Emmys".  I just hate that  two of my favorites Walter Goggins(Justified) and Alan Cummings ( The Good Wife)  will compete and only one can win.

SPOILERS: BIG BROTHER 13 (WEEK 1) EVICTION AND NEW HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD

 HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD

 EVICTED

Released by Miss TV Girl

After one crazy week Keith is the first person to be voted out of the Big Brother 13 house with a 6-4 vote.  It is a little to early in he game to formulate any true opinions of the houseguest, but boy I am happy to see Keith gone.  Besides being annoying, he is playing one of the worse games in Big Brother history and this is the first week.  Who throws a POV competition and puts his fate in the hand of complete strangers.  Now don't get me wrong, Porshe isn't exactly my cup of tea and her game is just as bad, she just had the veterans on her side.  I think Dominic should be very worried.

I really hoping the game picks up really soon. I know its only the first week, but boy am I not interested and/or vested in any of these people winning the game. Some seasons just take a little longer to draw out the interesting people.

Am I the only person who can't believe I am sitting through another season with Brenden and Rachel the most dysfunctional couple ever? The fight tonight was beyond ridiculous. These two are borderline certifiable and marriage should be the last thing on their agenda.

Tonight's Best Moment:

* The votes weren't unanimous
* Keith's Eviction
* Jordan winning Head of Household

Tonight's Most Cringe Worthy Moments
*The Brenden and Rachel fight about absolutely nothing
* Adam and his constant mantra of being "The Metal Guy"
* Porsche receiving the Golden Key

SPOILERS:BIG BROTHER 13 (WEEK 1)

Released by Miss TV Girl

Spoilers: Spoiler Line: Do Not Cross

OK, it looks like "Big Brother 13" is off to good start.  I usually hate the games where you are forced to pair with a stranger,  just imagine having a strategy to get to the final three all mapped out  and the powers that be throw a wrench into your plan with a forced pairing, I would be livid.  I still believe that you can apply my  rules and get very far in the game, its just a little bit harder. But, I think that I am going to like this twist, due to the return of  the  past "Dynamic Duos".  Speaking of the past "Dynamic Duos", Rachel won  the Head of Household

The returning house are

Rachel and Brendan: I am so not looking forward to a another season of Rachel's laugh, I have to admit the two did play and interesting game during their season, but their downfall was not following Rule #2

Jeff and Jordan: All I can say is Jordan is the luckiest player in "Big Brother" history and not following Rule #2 helped her win the season.  Jeff, however lost because he ignored Rule #2.

Dick and Danielle:  I am not really interested in seeing these two go very far together, but they were very good during their season.  Evil Dick is a lot of personality handle and watching Danielle look like she is scared to death of him is very uncomfortable.

Big Brother also decided to throw a another twist in the game.  When you are nominated for eviction this summer and you survive the chopping block, you will receive the "Big Brother Golden Key", which guarantees you a spot in the Top 10.  Anyone who survives eviction cannot be nominated  or participate in any competitions until only 10 people remain in the house. So, being on the chopping block doesn't have to be a bad thing this season, if you can secure the votes.
