LONE STAR CANCELED, AFTER TWO EPISODES, "LIE TO ME" TO RETURN EARLY

 Released by Miss TV Girl

FOX has decided to cancel "Lone Star" one of the most anticipated shows of the new fall season from its lineup.   "Lone Star" debuted last week to very low ratings, despite weeks of rave reviews from critics, however FOX did decide to give it another week (so kind of you Fox, a  whole 2 weeks to give a new show a chance to find an audience)  but, week two didn't fair any better.

The three remaining unaired episodes have been shelved, and  there is no word as to whether FOX will release them in the near future.

"Lie to Me" , which originally was scheduled to premiere in November will take "Lone Star's time slot beginning Monday.

CAPRICA RETURNS TO SYFY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5

SYFY Press Release

The highly anticipated return of Syfy's critically-acclaimed series Caprica will come even sooner than anticipated. The second half of season one will now premiere on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:00PM ET/PT, the channel announced today. Fans will no longer have to wait until January to watch the series exciting kick-off, as the citizens of Caprica deal with the chaotic aftermath of the mid-season finale's harrowing events.
The second half of season one will transport us from stunningly vivid, twisted Virtual realities to the fascinating outer worlds of the 12 Colonies. Along the way, revolutionary tensions rise, family power shifts and our characters grapple with the physical and emotional consequences of their questionable decisions. As the season races towards its stunning conclusion, each episode lays the groundwork for the inevitable (and brutal) clash between the new Cylon race and its human creators.

"Though we initially announced the January return of Caprica, we still had hopes of finding a way to get the series back on the air sooner," said Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Syfy and Co-Head of Content for Universal Cable Productions. "We've been able to successfully re-work our schedule, and are thrilled to bring the show back during what is traditionally Syfy's most-watched time of the year. The outcome should also please fans who expressed their wishes for a shorter mid-season hiatus."

MTV'S "THE BURIED LIFE" RETURNS TO MONDAY NIGHTS BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 27TH AT 10:30 PM ET/PT

 MTV Press Release

MTV's adventurous docu-series "The Buried Life" returns for a second season Monday, September 27th at 10:30PM ET/PT. "The Buried Life" began with a simple question: "What do you want to do before you die?" Out of it grew an inspirational TV show and a grassroots movement that has allowed viewers to live vicariously through four friends - Ben, Jonnie, Duncan and Dave - as they put themselves in the most incredible and unexpected situations while traveling the country trying to complete a list of "100 things they want to do before they die." For every item they cross off their list, they help a perfect stranger accomplish one of their dreams.
Season two of the series promises more elaborate capers and inspirational moments as people from around the world share their own lists and ask the guys for help. Crashing a parade, capturing a fugitive and raising $1,000,000 in a week, are just a few of the list items they will attempt to pull off. The guys will also try to help two sisters make an important motorbike journey across Florida to bury their father's ashes, build a skate park for a community that has lost four teenagers to tragedy - and help a struggling rock band get signed to a record label.

SNEAK PEEK: CASTLE - SEASON 3 -WATCH THE FIRST 8 MINUTES

Released by Miss TV Girl

I have decided not to watch the third season of "Castle".  I hung in there for a very long time hoping for something interesting to happen,  but I had to finally realize, what you see with this show is all that you will ever see.

There has been no character development what so ever, Castle and Becket are having the same conversations that the two were having in the first season and the cases have gotten really boring and repetitive.

To be very honest the above 8 minutes clip looks very interesting, but I have decided to free myself form the mundane task of watching week after week, hoping for something interesting to happen and being disappointed.

SUPERNATURAL: SEASON SIX SPOILERS

Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki
Released by Miss TV Girl

I have listed below a couple of scoops that have been released about the upcoming season of my favorite show"Supernatural"

1.  "There are more monsters," said new show runner Sera Gamble. "We really wanna shoot some monsters in the face...so for the first time our mythology loops monsters in.

2. When the season begins, about a year after Sam's trip downstairs, Dean is a family man. He has a life and a marriage that he's going to try to protect..Then Sam returns—and reveals that he has in fact been back for a year without contacting Dean! Sam wanted Dean to live in blissful oblivion. It's a bit of a strain because Dean feels like he's been lied to...they have some things to work out.

3. The Sam who returns from hell really is Sam,  But now he subscribes to Dean's original "shoot first, ask questions later" policy.

4. Castiel will return in episode three this season after a busy year in Heaven. Raphael still exists, he's not going away.

MEKHI PHIFER EXITS "LIE TO ME"

 Released by Miss TV Girl

Mekhi Phifer will not be a part of season 3 of "Lie to Me", due to a change in the dramatic structure of the show.

"The FBI franchise limited our storytelling a little bit because it had to adhere to the FBI structures of 'Would the FBI take this case or not?"' said executive producer David Graziano in the interview. "The character that's going to be our badge this season is a bent cop, Wolowsky (  Monique Gabriela Curnen) , who goes about business in a similar way to Lightman. There's a mutual respect from the get-go. We're working hard to make The Lightman Group a dysfunctional family.''

Sorry to see Phikfer leave, but I never truly felt that "Lie to Me" was a good fit for him and his talents. However, I am really looking forward to see where he pops up next.

The season 2 finale, 'Black and White,'airs tonight.  Season 3 debuts Nov. 10.

ABC'S "SHARK TANK" IS BACK AND CASTING NOW!

 ABC Press Release

The producers of the ABC reality series "Shark Tank" are on a nationwide search to discover the next successful - and possibly wealthy - entrepreneurs, inventors, businesspersons, dreamers, promoters, creators and innovators. In each episode, budding entrepreneurs are given the unprecedented chance to make their business dreams come true.

Whether you just have an idea, are a start up or already operating successfully and looking to expand, if you feel you have a lucrative business/idea and could use financial backing, then "Shark Tank" is just the show for you. Casting is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds. But the Sharks aren't just out to invest; they too have a goal -- to own a piece of the venture.

Your business idea should be top-notch and something the Sharks will really want to sink their teeth into. It might even spark a bidding war between them. Who knows? You could be the fortunate entrepreneur who gets the Sharks to reveal their true level of interest and to bid up the price of your investment!

The Sharks are real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, "infomercial" industry pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion icon Daymond John and financial expert Kevin O'Leary. And in Season 2, successful businessman and comedian Jeff Foxworthy will join the panel for three episodes.

"THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW" FINAL SEASON TRAILER

WILLIAM BALDWIN JOINS "PARENTHOOD"

 Released Miss TV Girl

William Baldwin ("Dirty Sexy Money," "Gossip Girl") will join the magnificent cast of my favorite NBC drama "Parenthood'  for a multiple-episode arc.

Baldwin will be playing Gordon Flint, Adam's (Peter Krause) wealthy, charismatic boss. Gordon is content to let Adam do the grunt work of running the company, preferring to spend his time thinking about the "big picture." A dedicated bachelor, Gordon's romantic life is the polar opposite to Adam's relationship with Kristina (Monica Potter). Gordon brings tension to the Braverman clan when he sets his sights on Adam's sister, Sarah (Lauren Graham)

Not sure of how I feel about this bit of casting news, with no disrespect towards William Baldwin and his talent. But I do have complete faith in Jason Katims (Executive Producer),and the other great talent behind  and in front of the camera.

I am anxiously awaiting the return of The Braverman Clan when it premieres Tuesday, Sept 14.
