 Released by Miss TV Girl

ABC's  "Rookie Blue"  has been renewed  for a second season.
The cop drama, which debuted June 24 and  has been averaging 7.1 million viewers.

"We're very pleased that the show has connected with viewers, especially considering the challenge of finding an audience in the summer, and are excited to pick it up for a second season," said Quinn Taylor, ABC's senior vice president of movies, miniseries and acquisitions.

I tuned in for the first 3 episodes and was highly disappointed. The writing was horrible and  left zero to nothing in way of character development . We don't even know what streets the recruits are trying to protect.

To be honest, I really expected a lot more from the network that brought me  "NYPD Blue".
